The 
                            people of people Nepal are suffering avoidable illnesses. 
                            There is an average of one doctor for about 13000 
                            Nepalese. 
                            With lack of time and resources, Nepalese doctors 
                            are simply unable to treat all these people. 
                            Our Health Concern Program helps Nepalese doctors, 
                            nurses and medical staff by providing professional 
                            health volunteers to help them and to also keep patients 
                            happy through stimulating faster recovery. 
                            Volunteers also get involved in other rural hospital/health 
                            post activities, such as sanitation, food, environment 
                            etc. Please note that volunteers interested in our 
                            Health Concern programs should currently be a doctor, 
                            nurse, medical student, or hospital employee to enable 
                            a proper level of training.
                          How do volunteers work with Health 
                            Concern Volunteers?
                            On the first few days of your visit, you can explore 
                            Kathmandu Valley. You can learn various aspects of 
                            Nepalese culture - the people and their way of living. 
                          
                          
You 
                            then travel to the selected site, which are usually 
                            a day bus ride from Kathmandu and a day's walk from 
                            the bus stop or it can be near by Kathmandy valley. 
                            After a reach selected village you may try to involve 
                            and share their tradition and culture, volunteers' 
                            start their work at selected venue. 
                          This program mainly focuses for about 
                            the primary health and cleanliness in residential 
                            area, schools, health posts, and community buildings. 
                            Volunteers will work in those selected areas and community 
                            by providing primary health and awareness. So, during 
                            the work, you will stay with local families. Accommodation 
                            is simple and shared with family members. Nepalese 
                            traditional food is taken sitting on the floor with 
                            family members. Hands are use to eat food instead 
                            of spoons. You will enjoy joining in with typical 
                            Nepalese family activity because the system is entirely 
                            different to western culture.
                            Volunteers who have a trained background in the health 
                            care sector may also work in the health post for few 
                            months with Health Post staff. Volunteers can highlight 
                            the importance of health and cleanliness by demonstrating 
                            among rural people and health post staff.
